Does anyone remember if Pete Sullivan was a jock on WHAS during the late 70's, early 80's?
He had worked at top 40 WIFE and Full Service WIBC, both here in Indianapolis.
He had the witty irish brogue and accent, kind of like the Lucky Charms leprochan ("always after me lucky charms...."). At WIFE and at WDRC Hartford (where he worked right before WIFE), he did the morning show and used to drop in the "bag of laughs" (like the one you could buy at the mall) after a dumb joke. In later years, he dropped the corny humor, but was still a great jock - one of my all time favorites. The WDRC tribute site has a short audio clip of him from 1973 telling one of his jokes.
Someone had said that he was at WHAS in between gigs at WIFE and WIBC. Later on, he worked at both WBT in Charlotte and WMGK, Magic 103 in Philadlephia in the middle to late 80's.
Did he work at WHAS?
Scott Davis
Unfortunately, Pete passed away in 1991 at the age of 49.

Hi Scott! Pete Sullivan did afternoons at WHAS for a short time in the early 80's. I know he came after Burbank left, but I believe Bill Cody did afternoons briefly before Pete Sullivan started. I remember him on WIBC and I heard some of his work at WBT. Sorry to hear he passed away at such a young age.
