Does anyone know who was on the air in the afternoon slot when Gary Burbank left whas? How long was Jeff Douglas on in the afternoon? Was the time slot still 3-7 PM? What actually happened to Jeff? Final question: Is there any Tv coverage of the 74 tornado, and did the screen play about the super outbreak ever make it to the screen? I'd love to watch it.

How could I start a station like it? I'm wanting to do something similar. Watning to do something localized for my area in Northern Kentucky.

I noticed that Wqmf and WQHI were both licensed to Jefferson Ville. Did both stations use the same studio location until Wqmf moved to Professional Towers in Louisville in 1988?

Does anyone know for sure what year Ron Clay passed away? I'm thinking it was 1990 or 91. Also, the morning show had a weather man named Todd Richmond who did the character voice of Fred the bum. Does anyone happen to have any airchecks of this, and does anyone also know what happened to Todd Richmond? Matt Sorrell: Falmouth Kentucky

I had the opportunity of introducing Terry Meinors in 1987 at a career day event at the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville. I was all of 10 years old. I'd like to email him and see if he remembers me. Does anyone have his email address? Thanks: Matt Sorrell: Falmouth Kentucky

Wait until you hear parts 8-14, it's even more chilling. When LMetso takes over at around 10 P.M. I was just going to bed around 11 the other night and had to turn it off, it was giving me the creeps. The 5 to 6 hour can be heard on _Day of Disaster, which is a little bit further down on the page. It's in 2 parts. You will find the hours you're looking for at the very beginning of part 2.

I Remember Kiss104. The morning man you were trying to remember was Frosty Stillwell. I also find it strange, that eventhough they were rivals, that when Kiss went off the air, they simulcasted Wdjx for a while.

I think WRKA was also a mixture of country and rock in the early to mid 80's. I can remember a few country tunes being played at some point.
